Te Quiero Tequila: National Margarita Day!

Happy National Margarita Day!

Margaritas, to me, is indulged almost every weekend, so having a holiday is really not necessary but nonetheless very much appreciated.

To celebrate such an epic event (margs are my faves!) here’s a recipe of one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had: Frozen Blueberry!

Salt rim (yes please!) or no salt, this recipe is great for a girls night out, alone night in, movie nights or date night–honestly, not picky.

So try it out, have a sip–or three for me, and enjoy!

Fresh orange juice or lime juice (optional)
Blue or purple decorator sugar crystals (optional)
3 cups ice
1/3 cup tequila
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1 (6-ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup orange liqueur
Dip rims of margarita glasses in orange juice, and dip in sugar crystals to coat, if desired.

Process ice and next 5 ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve in prepared glasses.
