Haute Couture Fashion Week is upon us and Rodarte made its way by showing a beautiful collection for Spring/Summer 2018. In the heart of Paris, the American label showed the concept of dream into gowns, and make everyone, including me, want to be a flower child running through the field.
Opening the show with (I Never Promised You A) Rose Garden, by Joe South, the collection captured everyone’s eyes and hearts with high-end details on every dress that was strutted down the runway.
When first glancing at the collection the first thing that came to mind was Miranda Priestly’s famous line: Groundbreaking. Florals is usually the go-to inspiration for many collections during Spring, nothing too out of the ordinary but nonetheless beautiful.
The fashion house stated:
And romantic, it was! Aside from the florals, the collection consisted of lighter tones, such as blush pink, white and nude, as well as some colors: red, and a mix of black and patterns. Ruffles was also one of the key details, so if you’re not a fan of it yet, you better get used to it because it’ll be a thing.
