Women CRUSHING IT Wednesday

I’ve been wanting to start Women CRUSHING Itūüí™ūüŹĹ Wednesday, and what better day than today?

I want to dedicate Wednesday’s to those who are working hard everyday in their field and going after their dreams. It’s very easy to inspire from successful stories, but the real motivation comes from those who are trying hard everyday and don’t give up.

Today’s post is about me (how original!) but this is just an introduction. For those of you who don’t know, my name is Caroline and I run ThinkWearLove blog.
With a full-time job and daily responsibilities it’s very hard to keep up with blogging everyday. But I love to write, and inspire others and that dream never left me.

I originally started ThinkWearLove in 2011 (yikes!) and haven’t stopped writing ever since. My background is in fashion and this was supposed to be a platform used for fashion news, but as I got older (and hopefully wiser) I began to shift a bit of my writing to lifestyle and everyday struggles.

This is just a very slim version of my story. But I want to hear about yours! If you’re interested in being featured in the next post, just message me. This is a great way to share your story and inspire others.

Every step you take, every move you make, I’ll be watching you.

Are you still going through your ex’s ‘Gram trying to figure out where he is without accidentally liking one of his pictures? Hoping to find a new post with¬†geotag¬†so you know EXACTLY where to go and bump into him?

But when life looks like easy street, there is danger at your door.¬†So you keep on digging after an hour or so you find his current location, thanks to the girl who liked his picture 3 years ago and is out with a friend who tagged him in a post! TBT: Boy Band Tunes Through the Decades

IMG_7111Who wasn’t obsessed with a¬†boy band¬† is seriously disturbed.

Winding down the best songs,¬†according to me,¬†to listen to on this Summery Thursday! Because nothing says — I’m ready for the weekend after a four day weekend, with some oldies playlist to listen to.

So put that top down, car top optional–joking, put your face out of the window to feel that breeze–at your own risk, and just be carefree and let the music take you back to the good ole days.

Here are picks:

  1. Come Together – The Beatles, 1970
  2. You Got  It (The Right Stuff) NKOTB, 1980
  3. Tearin’ Up My Heart – NSYNC, 1990
  4. That’s Just the Way We Roll – Jonas Brothers, 2000
  5. She’s Not Afraid – One Direction, 2010

It was e x t r e m e l y hard to pick just ONE song for 1D. But I believe I made a good choice, right Har?

What are you listening to today to get you by?

RHONY Recap: The Good, The Bad & The Tinsley

Get your pinot ready, it’s time for a quick recap. Here’s what you’ve missed:

Carole and new-girl Tinsley, calling her T for short, talks about re-inventing themselves. Well, Carole suggested for T to to re-invent herself in the city. Suggesting she’d cut her hair, and I’m pretty sure if she¬†cut all her hair off,¬†she’d¬†look like a British man.¬†

#ThanksButNoThanksCarole Continue reading “RHONY Recap: The Good, The Bad & The Tinsley”

Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

The city is great place to be, whether is Spring or Summer, Fall or Winter. But lately the rain has really gotten the best of us, and honestly, I can not take it anymore.

Since I am no Mother Nature, I have to deal and come to peace with the fact it might rain for a little longer.

It’s okay to get wet and dance in the rain. Continue reading “Sunshine on a Cloudy Day”

2016: The Year of Realizing Stuff

Kylie realizing this is the year to realize!

“…I feel like this year is really about, like, the year of just realizing stuff. And everyone around me, we‚Äôre all just, like, realizing things.‚ÄĚ – Kylie Jenner

Have you given yourself enough time to stop and realize what you haven’t realized all year?

This is THE year to realize stuff but I wasted it by not realizing what I had to realize!

2016 was supposed to be eye opening, like, really, realizing what is real, realizing what is life, realizing that one guy never texted¬†back, type of year. Continue reading “2016: The Year of Realizing Stuff”

Move over DJ Khaled, there’s a new kid¬†in town. #BlessUp

It’s been a surreal, crazy few days with Cosmo announcing the one and only¬†Spencer Pratt¬†as their newest addition to the magazine as an entertainment commentator.

I know what you must be thinking, but stop right there. Yes, we had to put up with¬†his odd and annoying behavior on the Hills show… but you have to admit, the guy is hilarious.

It may have seemed weird back then, when he started wearing all those crystals, and we’d have to sit and watch that dreadful season of him¬†sucking the energy from it.. But you see, that’s funny. Right? Haha? Get it?

…Me either.

You may have not seen it then, but looking at it now, he’s saying what others aren’t and is truly playing the card of being¬†the “voice of our generation” [for entertainment]. Okay, maybe not, but he’s making his way there. It’s refreshing, really.

As a former Hills fan and a devoted Cosmo reader, I had to check out and see what the hype was about. Was Cosmo way out of line to have Spencer Pratt as an commentator? Is he really that funny? I had to see it for myself.

I began following his account on Twitter and Snapchat to get the 411 on the PRATTMOPOLITAN.

His snaps will make your day. If you’re not a subscriber to any magazine like People, Us Weekly, Life & Style, you’re in luck! He’ll go page by page showing the latest news and commenting on anything and everything! Definitely worth having¬†Snapchat!

And on Twitter, well, you have to read it for yourself:

It’s interesting¬†how up to a couple of days ago many of us rolled our eyes to the mention of his name. Then Cosmopolitan Mag. came and opened the door for him to simply be, well, himself. And now, most of us can’t get enough of his now hilarious¬†comments.

Life is funny that way…
