Vegucate Yourself

Have you heard the term, “You are what you eat”? Most people tend to think it’s about the outer appearance rather than inner. 

You are what you eat, and most body pain you have is based on your nutrition. 
Because Netflix is just bombarding us with so many documentaries on being healthy, I decided to watch, not one, not too, but three documentaries on food, nutricition, and basically being “vegucated”.

For those of you don’t know, I’m a clean eater. I don’t do fast food, GMOs, white flour, sodas, processed meat, vegetable oils, sugar, basically anything bad for you. But after watching and being aware of other things that contributes to deadly chronic diseases, it really changed my perspective of how I see food and how I eat.

To get to the point and not sound too “preachy” I wanted you all to become aware of what you’re putting in your bodies. Educate yourself with healthier foods and love yourself enough to change your lifestyle.

Sweet Potato Avocado Toast


Ditch the bread, avocado toast is all about the sweet potatoes now! Try it out, simple and easy for a quick bite.

This one is 3 different takes on #avotoast with just a few simple ingredients:

  1. Avocado, tomatoes and feta cheese
  2. Smashed avocados topped with prosciutto with black pepper
  3. Avocado cubes, tomatoes and gouda cheese

Lazy Girls Guide To: Summer Salad

We’re cool for the Summer.

Basically the only way of making a fun and Instagram worthy salad. All you need is a pineapple, cucumber, avocado, arugula, dried cranberries and nuts! It’s that easy. And you will end up making snaps of it and hashtagging “pineapple goals”, “healthy eating”, “can’t believe I made this”, “that fit life be like”, etc.

If you’re deciding to host brunch or attend one–which you probably will, Summer is THE season for brunching ( just kidding, every season is brunching season!) this is what you’d want to bring!

The Cool Salad is very easy to make: cut the pineapple in half, carve out the fruit and just add all of the items above all diced up, including the diced pineapples. Very fresh and light, something that Blair Waldorf would end up eating (but not making, let’s be honest).



Cus It’s Summertime

Today is officially Summer. The official time for the sun to shine brighter, skin gets darker, and nights get longer. So how to celebrate the most anticipated season of all? Hitting the beach, tanning, being outside and just taking everything in. But, if you’re anything like me, you’re probably just tanning outside trying to get some color in that tush.

With that being said, I present the freshest healthy drink to keep that tan glowin’ for the entire season. If you don’t know—know you know: carrots emphasizes the glow of your skin, so keep that veggie on the go.

My favorite summer homemade juice is Carrot & Orange Cool Splitz—totally made that name up, but it’s not only refreshingly good, it’s my go-to pre/post tanning sesh juice.

Here’s what you need:

  • 2 Carrots

  • 1 Fresh orange

  • ½ cup of O.J

  • Fresh mint

  • ½ lemon

  • Water

Blend it all together with ice. Once done add a hint of sparkling water and you are good to glow!

Lay back and unwind ’cause, nothing else matters, for the summertime.Oh Aaron.
